About the game
Is this real-money poker?
No. Felt Society is a social game for adults (18+), for entertainment only. You play with virtual chips. Chips and Diamonds have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, redeemed, sold, transferred or exchanged for money, prizes or anything else. They are free and cannot be bought. Nobody — not us, not a club, not a host — may buy or sell them. If someone offers to, please report them.
How do I get chips?
Chips are free. Join a club with its club ID and ask the host for chips from the club Counter (Request chips), or create your own club and hand chips out to your friends. Chips cannot be bought.
How do I play with friends?
Create a club (Home → Create club), share the club ID, approve your friends, give them chips at the Counter, then open a table or schedule a tournament.
Is the deal fair?
Every shuffle uses a cryptographically secure random number generator, and each hand publishes a commitment that you can verify afterwards from the hand history. Automatic checks look for collusion and bots.
Diamonds
What are Diamonds for?
Nothing you need to play. Diamonds are a free collectible balance shown on your profile; in the app they unlock no feature. Diamonds can never be converted into chips, do not expire while your account is open, and have no cash value.
How do I get Diamonds?
Diamonds are free. Open Diamonds and claim the timed Diamond drops: a daily, a weekly, a monthly and a quarterly drop. After you claim a drop, a countdown shows when it is ready again.
Can I buy Diamonds or chips?
No. Felt Society has no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no paid content. Chips and Diamonds cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for anything. If someone offers to sell them to you, please report them.
My drop did not arrive
Reopen the Diamonds screen and check Drop history. If a claimed drop is missing from your balance, e-mail us your player ID and the time of the claim.
Account
I forgot my password
E-mail us from the address saved on your profile with your nickname and player ID. If no e-mail is saved, we will ask a few questions about the account to confirm it is yours.
Delete my account
Me → My account → Delete account. Full details: Delete Account.
Safety
Report or block a player
Open the player’s profile and tap Report or Block, or long-press a chat message and tap Report. Blocking stops their chat and reactions from reaching you immediately. We review reports within 24 hours. See the Community Rules.
Someone is asking for money for chips
That is against our Terms. Report the player with the reason “Real money”, or e-mail us the club ID. We close clubs and accounts that do this.
Responsible play
Felt Society involves no money, but if simulated gambling stops being fun, take a break. If gambling is a problem for you or someone close to you, free confidential help is available, for example at begambleaware.org (UK) or ncpgambling.org (US).
